Vimal Farms is a horticulture plantation spread over 110 acres in a very picturesque surrounding and in absolutely pollution-free part of Pune district of Maharashtra, in Western India. Located 12 kms away from Talegaon which is well known for its salubrious and healthy climate year round, the farm is located on the banks of a large water body created by an irrigation dam built on River Andhra. (Google Earth co-ordinates) Blessed with very healthy, peaceful surroundings and climatic conditions which I are highly beneficial for horticulture, we are in close vicinity of India’s 2 most progressive cities – Mumbai and Pune. We have easy access to the major seaport of Nhava-Sheva, International airports of Mumbai and Pune, and easily accessible to the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and National Highway running between Mumbai and Bangalore (NH4). It is also well connected to vast Railway system located at Pune Junction. Vimal Farms is well geared to take its products to all parts of India as well as virtually, any international destination. Almost 30,000 mango trees of mixed varieties have been planted and predominant production is that of ‘Kesar’ Mangoes. Along with this we also have plantations of Strawberries from October through to April and year round fruits like Chikoo as well as a basket of various vegetables.
